Welcome to the Petflicks: Coulee Region’s Funniest Pet Videos Contest! We’re thrilled to host this community-wide event, raising funds for the Coulee Region Humane Society (CRHS) and promoting shelter pet adoptions. Please review the rules below to ensure your entry qualifies and you’re ready for some pet-tastic fun!

  • Entry Fee

    $30 per video. Each entry includes one free raffle ticket for the 50-50 raffle. Raffle tickets must be picked up at Onalaska Animal Hospital during regular business hours no later than January 24, 2025. Entry fees are non-refundable, including in cases of disqualification or withdrawal.

  • Ownership

    You must own the rights to the video you submit. By entering, you confirm that you are the rightful creator or owner of the video and that it does not infringe on any third-party copyrights (e.g., music, logos).

  • Originality

    Videos created or altered using AI technology will be disqualified.

  • Video Content

    Share your funniest, most heartwarming pet moments. Videos must be family-friendly and free of offensive language, violent behavior, or depictions of harm toward animals.

  • Technical Requirements

    Videos must not exceed 2 minutes in length and must be submitted in MP4 or MOV format. Files must be under 100 MB in size.

  • Eligibility

    Open to residents of the Coulee Region, ages 18 and up.

  • Exclusions

    Employees of Coulee Region Humane Society and Onalaska Animal Hospital and their immediate families (spouse, children, parents, siblings) are not eligible to enter.

  • Video Submission Period

    January 2–January 24, 2025. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances.

  • Voting Period

    January 27–February 8, 2025. Voting is free, with a limit of one vote per person/email per day.

  • Winner Announcement

    February 9, 2025, immediately following the Puppy Bowl, during a Facebook Live event hosted by Coulee Region Humane Society and Onalaska Animal Hospital. (The Puppy Bowl is scheduled to air at 1 p.m. CST on the Discovery Channel.)

    The video with the most votes wins! Encourage your friends and family to vote daily at onalaskaanimalhospital.com. Vote integrity will be maintained by verifying email addresses and monitoring for suspicious activity.

  • Tie Resolution:

    In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a random drawing conducted by the contest organizers.

  • Raffle Tickets

    Separate from the contest, raffle tickets are available for $20 at Coulee Region Humane Society, 911 Critter Ct in Onalaska, Wisconsin, starting January 2, 2025, through February 7, 2025 during regular business hours. With advance notice, they are also available at Onalaska Animal Hospital, 984 12 Ave. S. in Onalaska.

  • Submission Process

    Videos must be submitted through the designated form on onalaskaanimalhospital.com/Petflicks. If you encounter technical difficulties, contact Onalaska Animal Hospital before the submission deadline for assistance.

  • Disqualification

    Entries violating the rules will be disqualified. Reasons for disqualification include but are not limited to:

    • Submission of AI-generated content.
    • Use of inappropriate material or content that does not meet family-friendly standards.
    • Failure to submit within the specified timeline.
    • Videos that exceed the technical requirements or violate copyright laws.

    Liability and Force Majeure

    Contest organizers are not responsible for any legal disputes arising from submitted videos, including copyright claims or privacy violations.

    In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., technical issues, natural disasters), the organizers reserve the right to adjust the contest timeline or cancel the event without notice.
