Onalaska Animal Hospital has promoted Head Veterinary Technician Brandi Aliesch to hospital director. Aliesch will develop and implement new policies and procedures and oversee all staffing that supports the hospital.
Aliesch has been with Onalaska Animal Hospital since it opened last year, bringing 23 years of experience to the veterinary hospital. She has been responsible for clinical training and oversight of the veterinary technicians and assistants. Aliesch is especially skilled in working through emergency and critical care situations.
“Brandi not only has demonstrated clinical excellence, but she has shown innate leadership skills,” said Azene, co-owner of Onalaska Animal Hospital. “In this new role, she’ll be able to continue contributing her medical expertise while also developing other areas of the practice to take us to the next level.”
Onalaska Animal Hospital opened in 2022, becoming the first new veterinary clinic to open in La Crosse County in 30 years. Owned by Nicole Azene, DVM, and her husband Ezana Azene, MD, the hospital provides preventive, routine, diagnostic, dental and surgical care in a state-of-the-art facility and fear-free environment.
