How Our Service Works
- Before the Visit—To discuss your pet’s behavior in-depth, we ask clients to complete our Behavior Consultation Form before the first visit.
- Initial Visit—We begin by discussing the pet’s history, environment, and specific family dynamics to tailor the beginnings of a behavioral modification plan specific to each case. If you can provide video clips of concerning behavior, we may be able to pinpoint subtle details that will help us adjust recommendations for your pet in your customized behavior modification plan.
- Clinical Diagnostics—If needed to rule out any underlying medical factors, we may suggest blood work, x-rays, or other tests.
- Positive Reinforcement Techniques—Our gentle, reward-based methods rely on counter-conditioning, never punishment. Medication may be recommended if it could ease stress and encourage progress.
- Ongoing Guidance and Follow-Up—We offer continuous support. Phone calls, written updates, and in-person visits help us track progress and adapt the plan as necessary.
Through patient guidance and compassionate expertise, we aim to create a peaceful and positive environment for pets and their families. Let’s work together to help your pet feel secure, confident, and loved.
